Shift gears. đ
When a car is manual drive car you are in charge of placing the car into the next gear in order to go faster. Unlike an automatic car that shifts on its on you have to watch your RPMs to ensure you are shifting at the proper time. If you donât shift properly you run the risk of messing up your engine etc, thus costing you a hefty bill or the car in its entirety. You can stay in the same gear and be stuck at a certain speed, but at some point if you want to go faster youâll have to shift.
It made me think of life, is it time for you to shift gears? What are you stalling on in life? Are you shifting too early?
If we rush the process sometimes weâll shift too early and skip steps in the process. We run the risk of missing out on things that we are meant to experience that will help us at the next level. Or we take on things that werenât even meant for us because we couldnât be patient. Adding a list of other things that have nothing to do with what we are called to do. Missing out on developing for what we are actually meant to do.
In my case, I get too comfortable. I get stuck in gear and forget that I need to shift. So I just cruise along; when the Lord is trying to push me to shift. I wonât experience life abundantly because Iâm stuck on what is and masking it as âappreciating the momentâ. Itâs time to shift gears, itâs time to go to another level. Time is moving, so I should be too. So should you! Take heart and know that you are not alone. May we move together in unity as people! May we offer a helping hand and sound advice to our brothers and sisters. May we run this race with integrity and love remembering that we are all living for the first time ever.
Shift gears family. God has more for you. đ€đż
Philippians 3:12-14
Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

Powerful realization here man: âI wonât experience life abundantly because Iâm stuck on what is and masking it as âappreciating the momentâ
Time to go!
